Quality confirmed with ISO and IQNet certificates
On the 70th anniversary of the Franciscan Sisters’ presence in Wieleń, the efforts made by the Management of the Associated Nursing Homes were confirmed with ISO Quality Management System and IQNet certificates. The certificates were awarded ceremoniously on 14 November 2003 at the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Social Policy in Warsaw.
On 9 November 2004 Polskie Centrum Badań i Certyfikacji S.A. (Polish Center for Testing and Certification, a joint-stock company) in Warsaw awarded to the Associated Nursing Homes a bronze commemorative medal for cooperation, involvement and continuous self-improvement effected through promotion of the idea of quality and its implementation by means of introducing management systems, training employees, and obtaining certificates and quality marks.
In 2006 a renewal audit was commenced at the Associated Nursing Homes. As a result, ISO and IQNet certificates were awarded again, and remained valid till 22 November 2011 .
Since 2008 a new PN-EN ISO 9001:2009 standard has been applicable. It is a Polish version of the EN ISO 9001:2008 standard. It has been reprinted and translated by the Polish Committee for Standardization and received the same status as the original version. The members of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) are domestic standardization bodies from the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, the Netherlands, Iceland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Hungary, Italy and the United Kingdom.
Since 14 November 2003 the Associated Nursing Homes run by the Franciscan Sisters of the Family of Mary in Wieleń have been continuously holding valid quality management system and IQNet certificates.
On 4 December 2015 the Associated Nursing Homes were awarded again the quality management system and IQNet certificates, which will remain valid till 3 December 2018.
